Software Engineer – Platform

We’re automating compliance for multinationals, directly challenging the Big Four accounting firms in a $200B/year market. We offer a rare opportunity to join a small, high-commitment team of 7 engineers where your work will be essential from day one and you will have a massive impact on our growth and our product suite.

We’ve raised $10m in seed funding from Bling, Pelion, and UIF. We’ve been growing rapidly for the last year and our customer base includes Razorpay, Pine Labs, MPL, and Remote.com.

What you’ll do

  • Build out the core backend infrastructure that powers our entire product suite.
  • Index the world’s regulations and build systems to query them efficiently.
  • Implement, test, and deploy code to production quickly. Go from an idea in the morning to a fully-completed feature in prod before bed.
  • Work in our modern tech stack – Golang, node.js, postgres, AWS

  • You’re ready to work extremely hard. Our team is extremely committed and we need you to become a full member. We’re taking on some of the largest companies on earth, and we can’t win without some late nights and weekends.
  • You take pride in your core backend expertise. You want to write code that serves complex business logic at scale. You can think like an SRE, building systems to improve our uptime and latency.
  • No matter how deep you are in the backend, you understand how your work impacts specific customers. You think from their perspective and are motivated by their outcomes.
  • You take pride in your craft and want to write good code. You get things right the first time. You understand that cutting corners now will lead to more work later.

About the team

We are a small, high-commitment team of 7 software engineers. Your work will be essential from day 1, and you’ll need to hit the ground running. You will work extremely hard and grow extremely quickly. This is not a 9 to 5.
