We’re automating compliance for multinationals, directly challenging the Big Four accounting firms in a $200B/year market. We offer a rare opportunity to join a small, high-commitment team of 10 engineers where your work will be essential from day one and you will have a massive impact on our growth and our product suite.

We’ve raised $10m in seed funding from BlingPelion, and UIF. We’ve been growing rapidly for the last year and our customer base includes Razorpay, Pine Labs, MPL, and Remote.com.

This might be for you if

  • You want to build a zero-to-one infrastructure org inside of a fast-growing startup with PMF.
  • You’re ready to work extremely hard. Our team is extremely committed and we need you to become a full member.  We’re taking on some of the largest companies on earth, and we can’t win without some late nights and weekends.
  • You can think across the stack: DevOps, SRE, security. You don’t need to be an expert in all three, but you’re not afraid of any of them.
  • You understand that infrastructure exists to serve the product. You think about how your work affects customers, not just systems.
  • You take pride in your craft and want to write good code. You get things right the first time. You understand that cutting corners now will lead to more work later.

What you’ll do

  • Build the foundation for a microservices architecture we can deploy anywhere
  • Own reliability: observability, incident response, uptime
  • Own security: access controls, secrets management, compliance posture
  • Create the tooling and processes that let other engineers spin up services and focus on product code
  • Eventually: design a control plane for global data residency and sovereignty

What success looks like

At 12 months, you own infrastructure, security, and reliability at Commenda. You’re not writing every line of observability code or getting paged for every incident – but you’ve built the systems and set the standards. Engineers can spin up new services and mostly just think about their code.

We are a small, high-commitment team. Your work will be essential from day one, and you’ll need to hit the ground running. You will work extremely hard and grow extremely fast. You’ll report directly to the CTO.
